The latest statements from Bethesda seem to have made this wait even stranger instead of shortening it.
Where is the Elder Scrolls 6 Really?
During Bethesda’s recent event, while the Starfield expansion was being discussed, attention naturally turned to The Elder Scrolls 6. The questions directed at Todd Howard were precisely aimed at this, but the answers were not the usual kind. Howard’s statement, “Think of it as if it was never announced,” followed by comments like “I’ve never heard of it,” created both surprise and a slight smile among fans.
The reason behind this attitude isn’t actually that mysterious. The game was announced early years ago, and since then Bethesda has focused on different projects. The involvement of a major project like Starfield inevitably pushed Elder Scrolls 6 into the background. Now, even though the game is in development, the team seems to be avoiding questions because there’s nothing concrete to share.
Nevertheless, players’ expectations are quite clear. Such a large brand remaining silent for so long naturally tests patience. People now want to see at least a small update, a short gameplay clip, or some clear information about the development process.
