NASCAR 26 Gameplay Trailer Shows Off New Features
NASCAR 26, following its initial developer diary, has now been revealed with gameplay footage. The trailer released by iRacing Studios shows that the new game in the series not only features visual improvements but also incorporates systems designed to make the racing experience more dynamic. Changes to the track layout and driving physics are particularly noteworthy.
NASCAR 26 Will Offer More Dynamic Races
The trailer showcases new tracks, a burnout system, and the Peak Performance Training feature, which focuses on improving driver performance. Players will be able to prepare before races, improve their driving skills, and adjust vehicle settings accordingly for better results on the track. The burnout feature will add a more spectacular touch to post-race celebrations.
One of the most important innovations in NASCAR 26 will be the dynamic track system. As the race weekend progresses, the track surface will change, the grip level will vary, and drivers will have to adapt their strategies accordingly. Tire choices, racing lines, and pit stop decisions may now be more important. Changing track conditions will prevent each race from progressing in the same way.
The game will also feature an improved paint correction tool, The Chase mode, a trophy room, and race shops. The “involved in caution” screen, which activates in case of accidents or yellow flags, will show the player their position in the incident more clearly. Thanks to the revamped replay cameras, it will be possible to watch important moments of the races from different angles.
Driving physics have also been reworked regardless of the chosen race series. The aim is to make the weight transfer of the vehicles, tire behavior, and contact with the track feel more natural. Although the first trailer doesn’t show all the details, NASCAR 26 seems to be doing more than just making minor additions to the previous game. The game will be released on September 18th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
