While the event is expected to be held in September, it is stated that the StarCraft brand could be the main focus of this organization. This is an important signal for long-awaited fans.

Actually, this project isn’t a new rumor. Previously, Jason Schreier, a reliable figure in the gaming world, had suggested that Blizzard was working on a shooter set in the StarCraft universe. It was even rumored that this project was being developed under the leadership of Dan Hay at one point.
