Halo Infinite’s Sequel Officially Expands

Halo: Edge of Dawn, a direct sequel to Halo Infinite, was released this month and aims to fill in the narrative gaps left by the game. Although not a game, the book takes place immediately after Infinite, advancing Master Chief’s story within the official canon. This is one of the most concrete signs that Halo Studios hasn’t completely shelved the current storyline.

The new book focuses on character relationships rather than revolutionizing the plot. The bond between Master Chief and The Weapon, now known as Joyeuse, is explored in greater depth. Readers believe this approach strengthens the emotional tone established in Infinite but doesn’t fundamentally alter the overall direction of the series.
