In this guide, we will play RE4 Remake from the beginning to the end and reach the solution. This is the third part of Resident Evil 4 Remake Chapter 3 Walkthrough. We basically proceed with the solution in the original game.
Resident Evil 4 Remake Chapter 3 Walkthrough / All Parts
Go through the archway to the merchant’s area. You can get green grass, spinels, bullets and money from the barrels. Don’t forget the chest at the back of the merchant’s hut. Enter the merchant’s hut and get the green grass. Open your Inventory to select the treasure keys and combine the 3 cat eyes and Beetstein.
Then talk to the merchant and sell him the rifle, spinel, blue necklace and Beerstein. You should still keep Red9, but you can sell the others. Don’t forget to buy the Attache Case L and the semi-automatic rifle. Upgrade your Red9 as well… Leave the hut, go up the stairs and go through the door at the end of the road.
Pick up your semi-automatic rifle and go around the corner. Grab the bullets from the boxes and fire at the people on the bridge. Keep moving forward and go up the stairs on the right and you will see some enemies.
Stand where you are and dodge the 2 fireballs coming at you. Then go down the path and continue left at the intersection. Cross the bridge, enter the cannon tower and collect the barrels. Leave the tower…
Go up the stairs and through the arch on the left. Go up the next flight of stairs, before the last step turn to the right and you will see a big hole. Look through this hole and you will see a red barrel, shoot it to destroy the enemies.

Go to the top of the stairs, turn to the right and get rid of the enemy on the other side of the bridge. Look to the top right and you’ll see another red barrel, blast it to get rid of the catapult. Cross the bridge and enter the hut.
Look through the big window and you’ll see a third red barrel, blow it up to get rid of the catapult. Take the blue necklace and money from one of the chests and the yellow herb from the other chest.
Leave the hut and cross the next bridge to the tower. Look through the window and you will see the last catapult, get rid of it. Exit the tower, use the lever to lift the cannon and use the cannon to smash the big red doors on the other side.
Cross the first bridge, you will see a chest in the left corner of the hut, smash it. Cross the second bridge… Go through the big entrance and you will come to the merchant’s place, go through him and enter the castle.
Head towards the stairs and you will encounter Salazar. When Salazar is gone, go up the stairs and get the blue necklace and other objects. Save the game using the typewriter, then exit the room through the door in the corner. Smash the barrels on the left side.
You will see a portrait on the right side of the corridor, check it to get 5000 ptas. Smash the door on the left side. Continue down the corridor and get the yellow weed from the barrels. Take the Capture Luis Sera file on the wall. Go through the entrance on the left and you’ll see statues of horses spitting fire.
Check the portrait on the right to get the key, go back to the blue door at the beginning of the corridor and use the key to open it.

When you go down the stairs, tell Ashley to wait. When you approach the cell, you’ll see El Garrador. Open the cell door and enter; El Garrador will shatter his chains in joy at the sight of you. Escape from the cell and go to the other side of the room.
El Garrador can’t see you, but he is following you. The goal here is to get rid of the parasite on El Garrador’s head. By firing at the bell, you can make him head there. When you do this, shoot the parasite immediately or it will smash the bell. After destroying it, enter the cell and pull the lever. Exit the prison by going up the stairs.
Turn left in the corridor and get rid of the Ganadoes that appear. When you go around the corner, Ganadoes will appear from behind the statue. Go through the passage and kill the enemy on the left side. After getting the bullets between the pillars, open the big doors at the end of the corridor.
Enemies will meet us. Take your rifle and aim for their heads. When you get rid of them all, head towards the corridor in the centre. Take the money from the table on the right and break the containers on the left to get the money and the green herb.

When you reach the top of the stairs, shoot the Ganado at the bottom. Go down the stairs, open the door and enter the room with 2 yellow platforms. Grab the green grass from the table and the bullets from the chair. When you get on one of the yellow platforms, tell Ashley to wait.
Move to the other platform and make the panel rise in the corridor. Tell Ashley to follow it… Exit the room and go up the stairs and get rid of the Ganadoes. Control the panel (both of you) to lower the stairs.
Go through the door on the left side of the room and get the money and bombs from the barrels. Jump down the stairs and enter the sewer. As you make your way down the tunnel, you’ll hear a door and footsteps; Salazar is unleashing men on us. I must say that you will have great challenges along the sewer, especially the invisible ones will challenge you a lot.
Once you round the first corner, stop moving forward. Immediately pick up your snifle and zoom to the second corner; you will see one of the men being unleashed on you. After shooting it, pick up the leftovers. When you turn the second corner, you will see a railing with water underneath it. Look closely at the railings and shoot Novistador.
There are also 3 more waiting for you in the corner of the water, get rid of them too.
Jump down the stairs; collect whatever is lying around. Use the next stairs to go up and enter the door on the left. Keep going and a Novistador will appear, get rid of him. A second one appears in the cell on the left. Open the cell on the far right and take the yellow herb.
In the cells on the left you will get bullets, bombs and Luis’ diary. Go through the corridor in the corner of the room. When you reach the destroyed cell, go around the corner, open the door on the left and enter the control room. Collect the bullets and the green grass from the boxes, then take the butterfly lamp from the chest.
Check the valve and answer “Yes” to the water flow question. When you leave the room and turn the corner you will be attacked, kill them. Return to the destroyed cell in the main room. Use the stairs on the left to descend into the water and go through the door ahead.
Get rid of the Novistadors that appear right there. After you get the green eye, go back up the stairs. You will see barrels on the left side, break them to get the green herb. Continue up the stairs and open the door. Hit all 4 pendulums to get the blue object on the right side.
Open the door and go up the stairs. Take the spinel from the barrels on the left, use the doors and leave the sewer.
When you enter the room, you will see the Ganado’s ritual. On the right side, run to the opening in the balcony and drop a bomb in the middle of the group. Jump to the chandelier and go through it to the other side. Turn to the left and you’ll see bowls.
Break them to get the blue object. Pull the lever on the other side and the door will open. Break the glass on the left side and get the mask from the chest. Go back using the chandelier. Collect the rest of the Ganadoes. When you go up the stairs you will come to the red doors, go through them.
Take the red herb from the table and go up the stairs to the other room. Take the bullet from the chair and Castellan’s diary from the table. Open the door to the other room and go to the window on the left. On the right side, shoot the Ganadoes below.
Also use your rifle to get rid of the Ganadoes with the springs. Go through the window and open the door to the next room. Enemies will start coming into the room, get rid of them all. Smash the barrels and get rid of the Ganados at the top of the stairs.
When you go up the stairs, you’ll see a door on the left side, go through it to get the bullets on the table. Cross the balcony to the metal door at the end.
Shoot the red barrel on the left and jump down to find a red Ganado. Follow him immediately and shoot him. When you look around by opening the door at the top of the stairs, you will see the gun. Immediately pick up your rifle and shoot the Ganado shooting at you. After you get rid of all the Ganadoes in the room, collect the remaining ones.
After you get rid of all Ganadoes, you can explore the room. Collect everything by breaking everything around. On the top floor, go down the stairs in the corner and get the money and bullets. Make your way to the passage and use the key on the door.
After going through the door, break the bowls and use the panel; enter the numbers ‘1, 2, 3, 4’ and press ‘OK’ to reveal the door and open it.
After talking to Salazar, open the door on the right and get rid of the people in the room. After the demo you will see more enemies coming. After you get rid of them all, take the yellow herb and open the door above. Look through the gaps in the wall and you’ll see Ganados with bows, shoot them all.
After you get rid of them all, set up the bowls and collect the coins. Pick up the spinel from the chair and the bullets from the shelf. On the left side of the room, towards the door, you will see a red button, press it to close it.
Take the green herb from the table in the south corner. Break the dish by opening the door. Press the button to extend the bridge to the platform. After crossing the bridge, collect everything in the chests. Upstairs, go through the door next to the switch to Save the game on the typewriter.
Head down the corridor to the bottom of the room and pick up the bullets from the table. Open the door on the left side, shoot the spinel through the wall and collect them all.
Follow the path around the corner and pick up the blue objects and the spinel. Keep following the path… Take the money and bombs from the barrels. Open the double doors at the end of the corridor and go down the stairs to the labyrinth in the garden.
As the gate is locked, we need to enter the maze. When you reach the end of the path, go down the stairs on the left side.
After passing through the passage, smash the barrels on the left side. Eliminate the enemy you will see on the left side by continuing to move forward. Run to the right side of the platform to open the passage on the right side. Turn left at the intersection to get rid of the enemies in the cage.
After breaking the barrels in the corner, turn left and take the second one on the left. Take the spray from the first crate; it’s like a health bag. Go back and take the first right this time. Continue on the path under the bridge and you will encounter enemies.
Dodge them and jump to the fence. Go round the corner, turn left and take the first right. When you go up the stairs you will see a fountain, get the moonstone.
Jump down from the fountain and head south. Take the first left and take out the enemies in the cage. Continue down the path, take the first right and go up the stairs. Go down the other side and take the right corner to get the moonstone from the corner of the fountain.
Head back down the stairs and get rid of the enemies along the way. At the corner of the platform at the top of the stairs, jump down and open the passage in front of you. Turn right and head up the stairs towards the door.
Open your Inventory and combine the moonstones to create the blue moonstone. Use the blue moonstone to enter the door and complete the level.
Break the bowls to get the bomb and spinel. Go through the door into the merchant’s room and take everything you can from the cupboard in the centre. Take the money from the bowl and the Female Intruder file from the table.
After leaving the merchant’s place, head left towards the open door. Go down the corridor, take the green grass from the table and the bullets from the table. Turn right around the corner and follow the thin corridor to the end. After taking the coins from the bowls, open the door.
Break the first two pots, but don’t touch the one on the right, because there are snakes inside. Kick the door open, but don’t go further, because it leads to the place where we were before. Open the door on the other side of the room; this leads to the previous corridor.
Go back through the thin corridor and turn right at the top and you will see a table with a bell on it. Ring the bell and shoot the bottles that appear above the portrait. When you go through the door, a trap will fall on you and trap you.
The room will start to fill with enemies and eventually El Garrador will arrive. As you may remember, El Garrador can’t tell where you are unless you move. Grab your rifle and shoot the cage lock to break it. As soon as you get out of the cage, Ganados will surround you.
After you get rid of them all, it’s El Garrador’s turn. Grab your Sniper and try to get rid of the parasite on his back. After taking him down, get the gold decor from the chest in the cage. Break the glass in the cupboard to get the bombs and then exit the door around the corner.
Head down the corridor to get the bullets from the dish. Jump down from the room and you’ll see a lever. Use this lever to raise the bridge. Go up the stairs and you’ll be surrounded by Ganadoes. Cross the bridge and open the door on the other side.
Go up the stairs again and break the pots for money and spinel. Talk to the merchant and sell the spinels, velvets, Illuminados Pendant, jewellery and gold decor. After making the sale, take the Attache Case XL and leave. Go down the stairs at the end of the corridor and go through the door to the bridge.
Go down the stairs on the right side. After taking the money from the table, jump down. Break the window to get the bomb, bullet, rocket launcher, rifle bullets, flash and the other bullet.
Go up the stairs and kick open the door above. Cross the bridge and go through the door back to the merchant’s room. When you open the other door, the demo will appear and you will complete the level.
After collecting the bullets, control the pottery to get the ptas. Pick up spinels, bombs, bullets and coins from the bowls. Use the stairs to descend to the platform in the centre of the room. Shoot Ashley’s infiltrators. As you drive Ashley away, Ganados will start filling the room.
Shoot all of them that get close to Ashley. Meanwhile, Ashley will run towards the locked door and the Ganados will keep coming. After dodging them all, Ashley will pick up the key dropped by the red-robed Ganado. Continue through the opened door to the castle.
Since Ashley doesn’t have a gun, you will either run away or throw the lamps you find. Pick up the spinel from the corner of the cupboard and the yellow weed from the corner of the room. Save the game using the typewriter. When you go down the corridor you will encounter a Ganado.
Once you enter the room, go to the right and throw the lamp at the Ganado. Grab the green herb from the table and throw the lamp at the enemy in the corner of the room. Use the lever to open the passage, then go through the archway and into the other room.
Take the spinel from the drawer and throw the lamp at the Ganado nearby. Wait until he gets up and throw the second lamp. Take the coins from the cupboard next to the bed. Go through the archway and get the red herb from the cupboard.
Continue along the corridor and open the door at the end. Take the green herb from the table in the corner. Crawl under the table and reach the entrance. Press the button and then move towards the passage and press the other button.
Pick up the stone tablet from the fireplace and run to the entrance. Push it into the cupboard, press the button to lift the gate and go through both gates. Get the money and velvet from the cupboard and open the door.
Make your way along the dark corridor to the room. Control the statue and push the bricks in order; left brick, left brick below, brick below, brick below, brick below right, brick below right, brick below right, brick above right, brick above right, brick above left, brick above left, brick below left, brick below left, brick below left, brick below left, brick below right and brick below right (If you notice we drew a circle).
If you get it right, you will have solved the puzzle. Check the statue again and use the stone tablet in the gap. Go through the door and get the gold bracelet from the chest and the spinel from the cupboard. Take the Salazar family’s insignia from the statue at the end of the room. Break the chest to get the snake ornament.
You will see Armadura standing in the dark corridor starting to move. Some knights will start to enter the room where Ashley is. Follow the knights by waiting behind the table. When they start walking around the table, leave the room and run down the corridor.
Other knights will attack you on the way, dodge them. Open the door at the end of the corridor and quickly close the passage.
Get rid of the last knight by coming into the room in the corner of the room. Go through the door and open the blue door directly opposite. Take the blue velvet from the drawer on the right, the spinel from the cabinet in the corner, the bullet from the drawer next to the statue and Butler’s diary from the cabinet next to the statue.
Looking at the dais, use the Salazar family insignia there. After turning the dais, go up the stairs. Turn to the right and take the money from the table. Unlock the door at the end of the corridor to end the chapter.
