Somewhere in Istanbul is poised to join the ranks of noteworthy independent game projects emerging from Turkey. Set after the devastating Istanbul earthquake, the game will focus on searching for resources amidst ruined streets, avoiding dangers, and uncovering the stories left behind by the disaster. While a Steam page for the game has been launched, a release date has not yet been announced.

Somewhere in Istanbul Will Tell a Story of Survival

Described as an atmospheric survival and exploration game, players will navigate the streets of Istanbul, which have fallen silent after the earthquake. Surrounded by ruined buildings, abandoned areas, and unknown threats, the primary objective will be survival. It is stated that the maps will be inspired by real areas of Istanbul, but which districts or iconic landmarks will be included in the game has not yet been revealed.

In a game where resources will be extremely limited, needs such as hunger, thirst, and fatigue will need to be constantly monitored. Players will search for food and usable materials, craft equipment from collected parts, and try to build safer shelters.
