Star Wars Outlaws, which has added excitement to the Star Wars universe, has finally announced a release date for Nintendo Switch 2 users. Along with the same statement, a new downloadable content package, “A Pirate’s Fortune”, was also announced for all platforms and will be released on May 15th.

Star Wars Outlaws Ready for Switch 2 Journey

The September 4th date given for the Switch 2 version of Star Wars Outlaws pleased Nintendo users. The current version of the game is already playable on PS5, Xbox Series and PC platforms. With this new version, Switch 2 owners will also be able to join this open-world based Star Wars story. In addition, thanks to the released demo, players have the opportunity to have a brief experience before the game is released.

The new downloadable content “A Pirate’s Fortune” invites players to embark on a mysterious adventure in the Khepi system with Kay and Nix. In this mission, players will team up with the legendary pirate Hondo Ohnaka and face Stinger Tash, leader of the Rokana Raiders. Both dangers and valuable treasures await players as they explore the Tomb of Khepi.

During the mission, players will also meet the Miyuki Trade Union, where they can earn rewards by transporting illegal goods across the galaxy. This new faction offers missions that diversify gameplay and special items given in return. This deepens the game’s universe even more.

The surprise gifts that come with the DLC are also noteworthy. Cosmetic content themed as Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will include an outfit for Nix, a cup for the speeder, and various ornaments for the Trailblazer. These gifts will be included in the Trailblazer’s delivery box after installing the update. It seems like it will be a small but nice gesture for players.
