In an Instagram video shared on February 12th and viewed over 900,000 times, the couple is seen opening the envelope from Sony. Inside the package are digital game codes and a special congratulatory card. Among the most notable gifts are codes for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Horizon Call of the Mountain. In-game content for Fortnite was also included in the package.
Two other code cards stand out in the video. Although the camera doesn’t fully show them, one is believed to be for a 2K-branded sports game. Sony’s decision to send a substantial game package, rather than just a symbolic gift, has garnered appreciation on social media.
The couple’s congratulatory card features both a handwritten and printed message. Following the note, “Aidan & Kirsten, congratulations on your marriage!”, the message “Congratulations and Thank you for playing with us” makes the brand’s gesture even more personal. Kirsten thanked them in her post, saying, “We’ve loved PlayStation since we were kids.”
In an interesting coincidence, Sony also held its first State of Play broadcast of 2026 on the same day. This surprise, coming just before the event where new game announcements were made, became an unforgettable wedding memory for the couple.
