The First Half Schedule of the 2027 Steam Sale has been Revealed
The official schedule for Steam sales and themed events covering the first half of 2027 has been announced. The calendar, shared by Valve, includes Spring and Summer sales, as well as festivals focusing on different categories such as racing, fighting, strategy, and co-op gaming. Players will also be able to participate in two separate Steam Next Fest events where they can try out free demos of unreleased games.

Here is the first half-year schedule for Steam sales and events in 2027, as announced by Valve:
- Desktop Companion Fest: January 14-18
- Shop Keeper Fest: January 25-February 1
- Sheep Fest: February 4-8
- Couch Co-Op Fest: February 8-15
- Steam Next Fest: February 22-March 1
- Rhythm Fest: March 8-15
- Steam Spring Sale: March 18-25
- Dinos vs. Robots Fest: March 29-April 5
- Racing Fest: April 12-19
- Witch Fest: April 22-26
- Fighting Fest: April 26-May 3
- Real-Time Strategy Fest: May 10-17
- Mountaineering Fest: May 31-June 3
- Steam Next Fest: June 14-21
- Steam Summer Sale: June 24-July 8
Seasonal campaigns are organized as large-scale events where all games published on Steam can participate with discounts. The Spring Sale lasts for one week, while the Summer Sale will offer a longer campaign period of approximately two weeks. During this period, thousands of products, from big-budget productions to independent games, are expected to be discounted at varying rates.
Thematic festivals will highlight specific game genres and gameplay ideas. Racing Fest will focus on racing games, Fighting Fest on fighting games, and Real-Time Strategy Fest on real-time strategy games. Couch Co-Op Fest will highlight games that can be played together on the same device, while Dinos vs. Robots Fest will offer a more unusual theme.
Steam Next Fest events will provide players with free demos of upcoming games. Developers can showcase their projects by holding live streams and special events during these periods. Valve will share the dates for Steam sales and festivals for the second half of 2027 in a later announcement.
