Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is delayed to second half of 2024.This information was revealed in a new press announcement of the publisher’s game release program. According to the publishers, the game still needs some polishing and it’s not ready for release.
The early plan was to release the game just before the end of 2023, since we are at November, no surprise to see this information at that time.
Focus stated their opinion like this: “The game is now poised to ship in the second half of 2024, to provide the time needed to properly polish the game and to ensure the best possible experience,” Focus said in a statement. “Focus Entertainment is committed to releasing a game that is of the highest quality and that exceeds the expectations of the countless fans of the franchise. Space Marine 2 has already accumulated over a million wish lists to date.”
Focus and Saber revealed more Space Marine 2 gameplay in August, promising a gritty third-person action experience that lets players rip through oceans of Tyranids. It’s set to be another entry in the expansive Warhammer 40,000 universe that even took inspiration from Syama Pedersen’s Astartes fan film.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is in development and it’s planned to be released at Q2 of 2024.
