Will Saros come to PC?

Saros is one of the key projects that will show Housemarque’s next step after Returnal. The game, which will be released on April 30th for PlayStation 5, has already caught the attention of PC gamers in particular. This is because Sony’s policy of bringing its games to PC in recent years has naturally raised expectations. However, it seems that this time the situation might be a little different.

Doors Closed for a PC Version of Saros for Now

The statement made by the game’s director, Gregory Louden, actually summarizes the situation quite clearly. Currently, Saros is only being discussed in relation to the PlayStation 5 version, and no plans for a PC version have been confirmed. While such answers usually mean “not for now,” this time the situation seems a bit more complicated.

Recent reports suggest Sony is making a significant shift in its PC strategy. Claims that single-player PlayStation games will no longer be released on PC have lowered expectations for Saros. The PC release of games like Returnal had previously led to speculation that Saros would follow a similar path, but this possibility now seems weaker.

Various reasons are being discussed for this decision. Factors such as delayed PC releases, piracy risks, and underwhelming sales performance could be behind this decision. Sony’s desire to shift its focus back to consoles is also a possibility.
