1001 Threads of Mizan Co-op Takes the Challenge to the Sky
1001 Threads of Mizan, the new action-adventure game developed by MBC Game Studio, has been highly anticipated for a long time. The recently released 16-minute gameplay video offers the most comprehensive look yet. The footage details both the game’s Arabian fantasy atmosphere and its combat system, which can be played solo or with friends.
1001 Threads of Mizan Makes Flying Carpets Part of the Battle
The game will support one to three players and will feature three different playable heroes. While each character has their own unique fighting style, the team states that they will be balanced against each other. It will be possible to complete the entire game solo, but the large-scale encounters and movement system clearly appear to be designed for team play.
One of the most striking mechanics is the flying carpets. These won’t just be used for faster movement across the map; players can take off, dive, and launch direct attacks while on them. The transportation system is integrated into the combat, resulting in more dynamic and vertical gameplay, especially against larger enemies.
New footage also shows battles against gigantic genies. Some enemies appear much larger than both the characters and the surrounding structures. In the story, players control a group of warriors aiding the legendary storyteller Scheherazade, attempting to protect humanity from the ever-growing genie threat. They will also gather information about Mizan and search for traces of an ancient civilization’s technology buried beneath the sands.
The influence of the Arabian Nights is clearly felt in the game’s world, but instead of directly adapting classic stories, the game aims to create its own action-oriented universe. 1001 Threads of Mizan is being developed for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. No release date has been announced yet.
