Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Graphics Mods Announced
Developed by French studio Sandfall Interactive, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will be released on April 24, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game will offer customizable graphics options to players on both console and PC platforms. These details are considered an important step in terms of the game’s visual quality and playability.
Performance and Quality Modes on Console
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will offer two main graphics modes for console players: Performance and Quality. While Performance mode increases the smoothness of the game by providing higher frame rates, Quality mode aims to provide a visual feast with higher resolution and visual details. Although it is stated that there are special improvements for PlayStation 5 Pro, the details of these improvements have not been shared yet.
PC players will be able to customize their graphics settings in more detail. The aim is to provide an experience that suits the system requirements with various presets ranging from Low to Epic. This flexibility will allow the game to appeal to a wider audience. The game is set in a dark science fiction universe and tells the story of a God-like character named Paintress posing a threat to the world. Players will be encouraged to explore the environment completely without a minimap, while experiencing a gameplay focused on exploration and strategy.
Inspired by the Final Fantasy and Persona series in terms of fighting mechanics, the production offers rich content for both new players and experienced fans of the genre. In addition, the game features familiar voice actors; Ben Starr (Final Fantasy 16), Andy Serkis (The Lord of the Rings) and Devora Wilde (Baldur’s Gate 3) are in the project. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on the day it is released on April 24. This offers a great opportunity for Xbox players who want to experience the game.
