Rockstar doesn’t want to relinquish control over when and what information about GTA 6 will be shared. As the game’s release approaches, a new claim suggests the company has reminded players involved in the project that their confidentiality agreements are still in effect. This development comes shortly after player Stephen Root publicly confirmed his participation in the GTA 6 cast.

Rockstar Reminds GTA 6 Players of November 19th

According to information shared by GTA VI O’Clock server host James Jarvis, Rockstar sent a message to the cast reminding them not to forget their confidentiality agreements. Allegedly, the deadline for players to announce their participation in GTA 6 is still November 19th, the game’s release date. The authenticity of this message has not been officially confirmed by Rockstar.

The timing of this reminder is particularly noteworthy because of Stephen Root. The actor, long thought to be voicing the character Brian Heder, recently confirmed his presence in GTA 6. If Jarvis’s information is accurate, Root’s announcement may have come earlier than Rockstar planned.

This means we may have to wait until release day to find out who voices key characters like Jason, Lucia, and Raul. Rockstar followed a similar secrecy policy with Red Dead Redemption 2, where Roger Clark, who voiced Arthur Morgan, was officially revealed only a few days before the game’s release.

Given Rockstar’s level of secrecy surrounding GTA 6, such an instruction isn’t surprising. The company has been dealing with leaks for years and prefers to share official information according to its own schedule.
