Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Image Introduces New Character
FromSoftware has released an image introducing a new character for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. “Will you walk with us?” the new character asks, holding a sword in one hand and a helmet reminiscent of Dark Souls 2 in the other. While the image leaves many questions about the character’s identity and role, some have pointed out similarities with a character from the last story trailer. This character is seen kneeling in front of a bonfire, suggesting that he will play an important role in the trailer.
Mysterious Character Seeking Miquella in Shadow of the Erdtree’s Expansion
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will launch on June 21st on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4, Xbox One and PC. FromSoftware’s biggest expansion to date, the game will follow Miquella into the Land of Shadows. As players discover the secrets of this realm, they will encounter new bosses, including the dreaded Messmer the Impaler.
The Realm of Shadows is being introduced as larger than Limgrave and will feature a “leveling up” system that will allow players to increase their power. This new realm in the expansion aims to offer players a deeper and more challenging gameplay experience. It remains to be seen how the new character, who is not yet clear whether he is friend or foe, will guide players or what obstacles he will create.
