Hunting Simulator 3 Gameplay Trailer Released
Nacon and Nacon Studio Ghent have released a new gameplay trailer for Hunting Simulator 3. The game, coming this fall for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, will take players to the wilderness of Colorado and Texas. With its open-world structure, officially licensed equipment, hunting dog system, and dynamic ecosystems, the series aims to offer a more comprehensive hunting experience this time around.
Hunting Simulator 3 Expands Open-World Hunting
Hunting Simulator 3 will offer players vast natural areas that can be explored on foot or by off-road vehicle. The deep forests of Colorado and the wilderness of Texas will be teeming with diverse animal species. One of the game’s most striking systems is the ecosystem structure called SimFauna. Thanks to this system, animals will react to the player’s movements, age over time, reproduce, and exhibit more realistic behaviors.
In the game, the hunting style will be entirely up to the player’s preference. Officially manufactured rifles, shotguns, bows, and crossbows will be available. Weapons from brands like Beretta, Winchester, and Browning will be realistically modeled in terms of sound, ballistics, and handling. Furthermore, not only weapon selection but also clothing choices will affect the hunting experience. Therefore, players will need to carefully prepare their equipment before going hunting.
A loyal hunting dog will also accompany players during the hunt. The dog will assist with tasks such as finding tracks, following scents, better understanding the environment, and retrieving small game. Controlled via a command wheel, the dog will improve as it goes on more hunts with the player, becoming a more skilled companion over time.
Hunting Simulator 3 will also feature a customizable hunting lodge. Players can display their trophies, buy and customize equipment, test their weapons at the shooting range, or hone their skills with clay target shooting. The new trailer shows that the game prioritizes not only the act of hunting but also the preparation and rest periods.
