Police Simulator Will Put Players in the Patrol Seat

astragon Entertainment and Grip Studios have announced a brand new game in the Police Simulator series. Scheduled for release in 2027, the title will take players to the fictional Faremont City, inspired by the East Coast of the United States. The city, comprised of three distinct districts, will handle numerous incidents ranging from parking violations to robberies. This time, you’ll have not only a human partner but also a four-legged companion.

Police Simulator to Offer Over 50 Missions and a K-9 System

The new Police Simulator aims to advance the series technically as well. Developed with Unreal Engine 5, the game boasts revamped systems ranging from graphics and vehicle behavior to traffic and weapon handling. Faremont City’s three main districts will feature up to 15 different neighborhoods, and missions will diversify as your career progresses.

Players will face over 50 missions and calls to action, ranging from simple parking violations to drug offenses and armed robberies. As missions progress, new areas, vehicles, and equipment will unlock. Radar guns, stun guns, and firearms will be available, but the development team says weapon use will be tied to a specific intervention and escalation protocol.

The long-awaited K-9 system is finally arriving, allowing players to work with a trained police dog on certain missions. The two-player co-op mode is retained, and cross-platform support allows players on different systems to patrol together.

Vehicles will range from fast patrol cars to large SUVs. Improved driving physics, more dynamic AI traffic, and public transport will make patrolling the city more immersive. Police Simulator will be released in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. A definitive release date has not yet been announced.
