Resident Evil Requiem’s Final Puzzle Confused Everyone
Spoiler Alert: This news contains details about key puzzles in the later stages of Resident Evil Requiem.
Resident Evil Requiem’s mysterious challenge, “The Final Puzzle,” has divided the player community since its release. This final puzzle, promising 20,000 completion points, remains unsolved. Moreover, it’s not just difficult; the clues are so scattered and layered that players have even formed a dedicated community on Reddit to find the solution.
Resident Evil Requiem Community on the Trail
The first step of the puzzle begins after the escape from the basement of Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center. Grace’s hand, severed in the elevator accident, can be retrieved from the ground and appears usable in the first half of the game. When examined under a laser microscope, the message “Let’s play” and the sequence “GGC AAG AUA ACG UGU CAU” reveal a larger puzzle involving symbols that lead players to a more complex narrative.
The community pieced together clues from Victor’s hourglass: “U = 380,000”, from the blood analyzer: “G = 150,000,000”, and from Grace’s blood file: “C = 4.2 ly”. These values were deciphered to correspond to the Moon, Sun, and stars, respectively. Following the “Just ignore A” note in Leon’s Raccoon City episode, the sequence was re-edited, triggering a child’s laughter sound when entering the safe.
But the real mystery begins here. The only clue on the menu is “Let the sweet pair hear the voice.” This laughter needs to be heard by the “sweet couple.” However, the identity of this couple remains unknown. Grace and Emily have been tried, zombies have been tried, model viewer theories have been tried, but no definitive solution has been found.
Some players believe the rhythm of the children hitting the beds in the orphanage might be Morse code. The red-green-blue panels in the sewer and the carpet with the sun-moon-star motif have also led to separate theories. For now, there is no definitive solution. The only thing that’s clear is that Capcom really pushed players to their limits with Resident Evil Requiem. What lies behind the 20,000 points is still a big question mark.
