South of Midnight: A New Adventure Filled with Sea Monsters
During the Xbox Games Showcase, a new trailer and gameplay for South of Midnight, the new game from Compulsion Games, makers of We Happy Few, was revealed. The game is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2025 and will be available on Xbox Game Pass on release day.
Compulsion Games’ New Game South of Midnight Revealed
South of Midnight combines Bayonetta-style fighting mechanics with action adventure exploration, and features an almost claymation visual style. The world offers an atmosphere inspired by the American Deep South, filled with creatures such as giant sea monsters and island-sized alligators. In the game, you will play as the character Hazel after a hurricane ravages Prospero’s fantasy world.
