The Free Football Game Total Football Online has been Announced
A new option has emerged for players looking for a free football game on PC. GALA SPORTS and 2P Games have launched the Steam page for Total Football Online, an online football simulation. While a release date hasn’t been announced yet, the game is already available to add to wishlists and has caught the attention of football fans with its licensed content.
Total Football Online Comes with Licensed Players
The most striking aspect of Total Football Online is that, despite being free to play, it features licensed content. The Steam page mentions the FIFPRO license, as well as licenses for Manchester City and some national teams such as Germany, France, and Portugal. This means players can build squads composed of real football players.
The game will feature not only current footballers but also legendary figures who have left their mark on football history. Names like Ronaldinho, Miroslav Klose, Cafu, Raúl, Paul Scholes, and Ryan Giggs are among the players highlighted. According to the announcements, Total Football Online will have over 4,000 professional footballers. This number could offer players ample room for team building and squad variety.
In terms of gameplay, the development team emphasizes realism. Technologies such as the Motion Matching Engine, full-body motion capture, and Neural Network AI aim to make footballers move more naturally. Details such as large stadiums, match atmospheres with over 50,000 spectators, advanced lighting, and jersey physics aim to enhance the on-field feel.
Total Football Online will be free but will include in-game purchases. The mention of chance-based purchases on the Steam page suggests that pack or card-like systems may be used. In terms of system requirements, the minimum specifications are an Intel Core i3-2100 processor, 16 GB of RAM, a GeForce GT 730 graphics card, and 40 GB of storage space. The recommended specifications are an Intel i5-2550K and a GTX 1660. In short, the game doesn’t require a top-tier system, but a mid-range PC might be better for smooth online matches.
