The GTA 6 Announcement Process has Now Entered its Final Stages

Despite months of announcements, the GTA 6 promotional campaign hasn’t fully begun yet. Rockstar Games’ silence is fueling player curiosity, and expectations for a new trailer, detailed gameplay footage, and a comprehensive promotional campaign are growing daily. It seems the company may be saving its biggest trump cards for the end of the summer.

When Will the GTA 6 Promotional Campaign Begin?

Take-Two Interactive has stated several times that extensive marketing activities for GTA 6 would begin in the summer. With August upon us, the company only has a few weeks left to fulfill this promise. So far, beyond opening pre-orders, sharing new screenshots, and revealing release dates, a large-scale, traditional campaign hasn’t been launched.

The content players are most eagerly awaiting is the third trailer and a detailed gameplay presentation. While the first two videos featured short gameplay clips, they didn’t show the open world, quest system, character switching, or activities available in Vice City in detail. A video similar to the long gameplay previews Rockstar released months before launch in previous games has become the biggest expectation.

Take-Two repeatedly emphasizes that the game’s release date is still November 19th. Industry assessments suggest the new date is more reliable than previous plans. NateTheHate, a reliable source of leaks, stated that the expected update will be shared when the time comes, hinting at new developments in August.

Clearly, GTA 6 is a brand strong enough to break sales records even without advertising. Despite this, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has openly stated that even such a large game needs marketing. Therefore, it’s quite likely that Rockstar’s silence will end soon. If the GTA 6 promotion starts before the end of summer as expected, August could be a very busy month with new trailers and gameplay footage.
