A New Trailer and Release Date have been Announced for Until Dawn 2

Until Dawn 2 was shown again at the September 2026 State of Play event, following its initial announcement a few months ago. The first teaser video was quite short, revealing very few details about the game. The new trailer, however, offered a broader look at both the story’s setting and gameplay. The most significant detail of the presentation was the announcement that the game will be released on January 28, 2027.

Until Dawn 2 Shows a Broader Expansion with New Trailer

The new footage confirms that Until Dawn 2 will not be limited to the Japanese island shown in the first trailer. The trailer features scenes from various locations, suggesting the game will have a broader environment and story structure compared to the previous presentation. However, the role of these areas in the story has not yet been explained in detail.

The video released during State of Play once again highlights the game’s atmosphere and characters. Scenes suggesting a continuation of the cinematic horror style of the first Until Dawn were shown, while short glimpses of the dangers the new characters will face were also shared.

The announcement of Until Dawn 2’s release date, just a few months after its announcement, gave the game a clear schedule. With January 28, 2027, PlayStation’s game calendar for the first few months of the year began to take shape.
