GTA 6 Fans Started Loving Jason After Just One Scene

GTA 6, with its two main characters Lucia and Jason, continues to be one of Rockstar’s most talked-about titles to date. While Lucia captivated players from the very first images with her energetic demeanor and strong personality, the same could be said for Jason. After the Extended Look video, some fans found the character too serious and impersonal. However, a few seconds of a bar scene in the video suggested that Jason might actually be a very different character than expected.

GTA 6 Shows a More Hesitant Side of Jason

In the scene in question, Jason greets one of his friends in a bar. After shaking hands, he holds his hand in the air for a moment, thinking the gesture will continue, but the other person has already withdrawn. Jason also lowers his arm after a brief hesitation. This small and somewhat awkward moment quickly went viral on social media.

The point that caught the players’ attention was the possibility that beneath Jason’s tough exterior, he might be a more socially reserved character. This was further reinforced by Jason’s statement in another part of the video that he sometimes feels more comfortable with a gun in his hand than talking to people.

Following Extended Look, various theories about Jason’s personality emerged. Some players thought his military background influenced his behavior, while others made different predictions based on an antidepressant seen in the video. However, none of these interpretations have been confirmed by Rockstar.

The bar scene, however, seems to have created a significant shift in how fans perceive Jason. Some social media users say that a single brief moment increased their interest in the character. Thus, it is thought that Jason’s calmer and more awkwardly social side, compared to Lucia, could be one of the most significant differences between the two main characters of GTA 6.
