Avengers: Secret Wars Will Feature Numerous Female Heroes

As Avengers: Secret Wars prepares to close the Multiverse Saga era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the question of how the cast will be balanced remains a mystery. According to a new rumor, Marvel Studios plans to give significant roles to numerous female heroes in the film. However, this doesn’t mean the major male characters at the center of the story will be relegated to the background. The aim, supposedly, is to use the large cast as evenly as possible.

Avengers: Secret Wars Could Give More Space to Female Heroes

According to James Mack, who shared the rumor, many female heroes will receive significant screen time in the film. However, it is also stated that the major male characters at the center of the main conflict will be strongly highlighted. In other words, instead of putting one group ahead of another, Marvel is reportedly trying to divide the massive cast.

This claim has also revived rumors that some actors from previous Marvel films might return. It’s suggested that actors like Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, and Jessica Alba could appear in the Multiverse Saga finale. However, the return of these three actors hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.

On the other hand, the confirmed cast is already quite large. Robert Downey Jr. will be at the center of the film as Doctor Doom, this time replacing Tony Stark. The Fantastic Four team, consisting of Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, has also been confirmed. Anthony Mackie will return as Captain America.

Noah Jupe has joined the cast in an as-yet-unannounced role. Anthony and Joe Russo will direct the film. Avengers: Secret Wars is scheduled for release on December 17, 2027. Since Marvel hasn’t yet revealed how the massive cast will be divided within the story, the extent to which female heroes will be featured remains a rumor for now.
