EA FC 27 Ultimate Plus is Going on Sale at a Record Price
EA FC 27 Ultimate Plus has become one of the most talked-about topics among football fans since the game’s official announcement. While it’s not surprising that EA is preparing three different versions this year, the price tag of the most comprehensive package is noteworthy. To offset the high price, the company will offer Ultimate Team content, early access, and long-term in-game advantages.
What Content Will EA FC 27 Ultimate Plus Offer?
EA FC 27 Ultimate Plus will be priced at $149.99. This makes it not only the most expensive single-game package ever released by EA, but more than double the price of the standard $69.99 package. While the company has offered packages at similar prices before, some of these included two different games. Ultimate Plus, however, will only provide access to EA FC 27.
The bundle includes an Icon card for Ultimate Team with an overall rating of 85 or higher, Premium Pass access to the first five seasons, and a Hall of FUT player selection. Players will also receive a total of 10,000 FC Points spread over five months, three Icon or Hero cards, additional player development space, and double AXP. A player upgrade for EA FC 26 will also be included in the bundle along with pre-order missions.
Ultimate Plus owners will have up to seven days of early access to the game. The bundle will also provide additional space to create custom challenges in Manager Live mode. The Deluxe Edition, $50 cheaper than Ultimate Plus, will only include Premium Pass access to the first season and 6,000 FC Points spread over three months. The main difference between the two versions lies in the long-term Ultimate Team benefits.
EA will be offering some additional rewards in the bundle for a limited time to encourage players to purchase early. Users who purchase the Ultimate Plus edition before August 31st will enjoy all pre-order bonuses. While the bundle may remain on sale after this date, some content will be inaccessible. How players will react to the record pricing will become clearer with the pre-order figures for EA FC 27 during its launch period.
