Ubisoft has announced the system requirements for the upcoming Star Wars game Star Wars: Outlaws system requirements. Powered by the Snowdrop Engine, let’s take a look at what you’ll need to run the game.

Star Wars Outlaws minimum requirements

  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or GeForce FX 5600XT
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 3600
  • File Size: 65 GB
  • OS: Windows 10

  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or Radeon RX 6700 XT
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-10400 or Ryzen 5 5600X
  • File Size: 65 GB
  • OS: up to Windows 11

To play at 1080p/Low Settings at 30fps and FSR Quality, players will need an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7-8700K with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660, AMD RX 5600XT or Intel Arc A750. The game will also require 65 GB of free disk space and Ubisoft recommends an SSD.

To achieve 60fps at 1080p/High Settings with DLSS/FSR Quality, you’ll need an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or Intel Core i5-10400, 16GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT.

Recommended Requirements for High Performance and 4K
For those who have a 1440p monitor and want to play on High Settings with 60fps, you will need an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X or Intel Core i5-11600K with 16GB RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, NVidia GeForce RTX 4070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT. You will also need to enable a booster (NVIDIA DLSS, Intel XeSS or AMD FSR) in quality mode.

Finally, to play Star Wars: Outlaws at 4K/Ultra with 60fps, you’ll need an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D or Intel Core i7-12700K, 16GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX. At these settings, you will need to rely on DLSS Quality or FSR Quality.

The game will also feature Ray Tracing effects and support DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction. Ubisoft and NVIDIA have yet to share more information about these RT effects, but Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, it’s thought that RTGI may be possible.

Ubisoft will release this new Star Wars game on August 30th.

  1. The graphics i have seen for this game do not warrant these requirements, so i think its just poor optimization and when people complain, the deves will just say ‘the requirements were stated prior to release, if you couldn’t match them, then you shouldn’t have got the game.

    The sad thing is, i have seen much better looking games that have run on lower spec machines easily….assuming the game runs poorly, just like how Jedi Survivor did when it come out on PC, they will just say its our machines, instead of actually doing their jobs and optimizing the game to run properly, they never did it with Avatar, but that game looks awesome and i can understand the requirements, but with Outlaws it looks nothing close to avatar ‘quality wise’ so i unless the review copies people used to review it was severely old and outdated and the release build will look better and run better, i do not think the requirements are true, they are there to allow the developers to be lazy and not bother to polish and optimize the product.
