While at first glance reminiscent of large-scale war games like Battlefield and Call of Duty, the game distinguishes itself from other genres such as battle royale and extraction shooters. The development team describes the game as an FPS experience focused entirely on battlefield dominance, supporting up to 100 players.
Wardogs Will Offer Team-Oriented Large-Scale Battles
At the heart of Wardogs are large-scale matches where three teams face off. The game’s main mode will be based on control zones inspired by the King of the Hill concept. Battles will be fought over randomly assigned areas within a large map, each with different conditions and challenges. This structure aims to prevent matches from progressing in the same way over and over.
One of the most striking aspects of the game will be its economic system, which encourages teamwork. Players will earn in-game currency not only by capturing territories, but also by reviving teammates, transporting allies, or undertaking useful tasks on the front lines. This earned currency can be spent on different equipment and vehicles with each new spawn. Furthermore, the carryover of currency from match to match will give players the chance to accumulate resources for critical moments.

The development team states that the game will be 100% player-centric, allowing everyone to contribute in their own style.
