Xbox Free Play Days Games for August 6-9 Have Been Announced

The games for Xbox Free Play Days, running from August 6-9, have been announced. This week, Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Ghost Recon Wildlands are completely free to play, while Sports Renovations requires a Game Pass subscription. NBA 2K26 will be available for a longer period, and Wax Heads is included in the program with a two-hour trial.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is an open-world tactical action game that takes players to the fictional island of Auroa. The main story, based on stealth, various weapons, vehicles, and equipment, can be completed in approximately 18-20 hours. Ghost Recon Wildlands focuses on fighting the Santa Blanca cartel in a Bolivian-inspired open world, and its main story takes approximately 27 hours.

Sports Renovations offers a more relaxed simulation experience where you renovate abandoned sports facilities. Players can find collectibles and complete side missions while repairing gyms, fields, and various facilities. With a duration of approximately 10 hours, it’s one of the easiest games to complete before the campaign ends.

The free-to-play period for NBA 2K26 is a little different from others. The game will be available from August 7th to August 14th. You can try out different modes such as MyCAREER, MyTEAM, MyNBA, and The W. Wax Heads, on the other hand, is a story-driven simulation set in a record store called Repeater Records, but it only offers a two-hour trial during Free Play Days.

Most of the Xbox Free Play Days games will become paid again on August 9th. If you want to continue playing a game you’ve already tried, your save files are preserved, and you can continue from where you left off after purchasing the full version.
