GTA 6 Fans are Flocking to Lucia’s Account, Which They Believe to be Real

The lead actors in GTA 6 have long been a subject of great interest to fans. Manni Perez is believed to play Lucia, but Rockstar Games has yet to officially confirm this. Despite this, a new Instagram account opened in Perez’s name quickly gained over 50,000 followers, leading some users to believe the account actually belongs to the actor.

The Lucia Account Followed by GTA 6 Fans Appears Fake

The first detail pointing to the account being fake is that Perez’s previously known account is still closed. The actor had deactivated his social media account due to intense GTA 6 comments and harassment. The fact that the new account appeared with a different username also increases suspicions. Furthermore, the account’s username appears to have been changed 16 times in the past and it was opened in 2020.

The situation becomes even stranger when the posts are examined. Some posts suggest that the text used may have been generated by AI, while an image shared as a “childhood photo” is also claimed to be AI-generated. In other photos, it’s been noticed that the same image is reused with minor changes.

The important point is this: Rockstar Games hasn’t even officially announced that Manni Perez is Lucia yet. It doesn’t seem very logical for such a major character announcement to appear on a personal Instagram account without any official announcement. It appears the account is exploiting this uncertainty to attract the attention of GTA 6 fans.

Despite numerous users commenting that the account is fake, the number of likes and followers on the posts shows that many people are still being fooled. It’s not surprising that fake accounts are rapidly growing around a game like GTA 6, which is closely followed by millions. Therefore, waiting for official Rockstar channels regarding posts about Lucia or other characters’ characters remains the safest option.
