It may have been overshadowed by Tropico 6, but the depth and fun that Tropico 4 offers is still relevant, especially for those who want to enjoy running a banana republic as “El Presidente”.
In the game, you may sometimes have to make unethical decisions to take your nation to the top as you struggle with rising political superpowers, a challenging economy and trade with other nations. But you not only have to deal with humans, but also natural disasters such as volcanic eruptions. Tropico 4 is a game that requires you to be as strategic as Crusader Kings and as creative as SimCity.
