CD Projekt Red Reveals Witcher Cast for the First Time
CD Projekt Red CEO Michal Nowakowski stated that around 100 people from the Witcher 3 team are still working on the company’s new game Witcher 4. He also emphasized that the story director for Witcher 4 is the same person who has been with the series since the original Witcher game. This statement reassured fans that the series is being developed in a way that is true to its roots.
Experienced Names on the Witcher 4 Team
Nowakowski said in a statement on social media that around half of the 200-person team working on Witcher 3 are still working for CD Projekt Red. These names include experienced developers who have also worked on previous games such as Witcher 1 and 2. Names such as the company’s co-CEO Adam Badowski and Witcher 4 story director Philipp Weber stand out as people who have maintained the main vision of the series for many years.
Weber took to social media to celebrate the second anniversary of one of Witcher 3’s newest missions, confirming that a significant portion of the old team is still involved in the company’s new projects. CD Projekt Red aims to both stay true to the past and offer an innovative approach by bringing new talent to the project alongside the experienced team.
The Witcher 4 is described by CD Projekt Red as a “fresh start.” It is stated that the game will tell a story about Ciri’s rise as a Witcher and will start a new saga for the series. It is also stated that beloved features such as Gwent will return and players will be given the freedom to create their own character builds, similar to Cyberpunk 2077.
The Witcher series continues to excite fans with its established development team and new storytelling. Although the release date of Witcher 4 has not yet been announced, it is expected that the game will both stay true to its past and move the series forward in an innovative way. CD Projekt Red is working hard to meet fans’ expectations in this new period.
