Dispatch has a nearly impossible secret ending

Since its release in 2025, Dispatch has attracted attention with its multiple endings and choice-driven narrative, but the hidden endings that players have struggled to reach have long been a subject of curiosity. Known to have six different endings, one of them stands out as a special path that almost no one can see and that is inaccessible through standard gameplay.

Why is Dispatch’s Hidden Ending Unreachable?

This previously unknown hidden ending of Dispatch was officially confirmed by Nick Herman, the game’s lead developer and one of the studio’s founders, in a statement on December 13, 2025. It was revealed that this ending, called “Tactitian,” had been present in the game files for a long time but had never been triggered by any player during normal gameplay. This explains the reason for months of unsuccessful attempts within the community.

Dispatch has a nearly impossible secret ending

Players have tried every quest combination in the game to reach this ending; from sending the right heroes on quests to completely ignoring summons and achieving zero performance, they’ve tested many different methods. However, none of these methods worked. According to the developers, this is because the hidden ending is technically inaccessible in the current version.

Nick Herman stated that the ending was “intentionally designed to be very difficult,” but acknowledged that it’s likely locked due to a bug. According to Herman, the “Tactitian” ending relies on some non-random performance criteria, but this system isn’t currently working correctly. This makes the ending practically impossible.

The development team doesn’t completely rule out the possibility that Dispatch might become accessible with future updates. Players are already anticipating a potential fix. Although currently inaccessible, Dispatch’s most mysterious ending has become one of the most talked-about aspects of the game within the community.
