Marvel has Confirmed the Next Hulk Movie
Good news for those who miss the early days of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Bruce Banner, played by Mark Ruffalo, has been in his Smart Hulk form for a long time, and we haven’t seen the full, furious Hulk since Avengers: Endgame. However, new promotional materials clearly show that “the other guy” is back.
The Savage Hulk Era Begins in the New Hulk Movie
British licensed merchandise retailer Piticas briefly released promotional images showing Hulk in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Although the images were quickly removed, details that surfaced online confirmed that Marvel will be using the Savage Hulk design again. This means that the Smart Hulk era may be put on hold for a while.
After Endgame, Banner’s form, combining his intelligence with Hulk’s strength, seemed like a permanent fixture in the MCU. Seeing Banner in human form in Shang-Chi’s post-credits scene, and the detail about She-Hulk’s inhibitor device, suggested he could control his transformations. However, new visuals suggest this balance might be disrupted.
According to leaks, Hulk and Spider-Man could face off in the film. LEGO set details and concept art suggest a major clash in New York. If this happens, we could see Hulk fighting an Avenger in his enraged form for the first time since Thor: Ragnarok.
While official details from Marvel are limited, it’s almost certain Hulk will return to the center stage in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, set to be released in 2026. This return could mark the beginning of a new Hulk era in the MCU.
