Silent Hill 2 Remake Development Progressing Smoothly
After the years of waiting, Silent Hill franchise is finally back and Silent Hill 2 Remake is developing by Bloober Team. Bloober Team shared a small update and asked fans to be patient.

As Bloober Team, we are proud to be a part of Konami’s plans for the Silent Hill franchise. Alongside our partner, we are diligently working to ensure the Silent Hill 2 remake attains the highest quality.
On behalf of our development team, we would like to clarify that the production is progressing smoothly and in accordance with our schedule. We understand that many players around the world are eagerly anticipating news about the game, and we appreciate your dedication.
However, we kindly ask for a bit more patience. Once Konami, as the game’s publisher, shares more information, we are confident that the wait will be worthwhile.

The last Silent Hill 2 Remake update we got on the title was 8 months ago when the studio said they were close to finishing, with the release date up to Konami. With Konami focus on other Silent Hill projects, such as Silent Hill Ascension and The Short Message, we suspect the publisher wants to get these projects out of the way before doing a major marketing push.

There is a little hope that we can get a little trailer in The Game Awards 2023, which will happen at December 7. If we get another trailer, then it’s most likely we can get release date as well.
Silent Hill 2 Remake will be released on the PC, with timed console exclusivity for the PS5.
