Snack World: Reloaded is actually based on Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl – Gold, but the changes are quite remarkable. The development team states that they’ve completely overhauled many systems, from gameplay to controls, and that the game’s feel has changed significantly.

There’s also a significant leap in graphics. The game will be presented with more detailed, diorama-style visuals. This means not only an increase in resolution, but also a noticeable renewal in the overall art design. This could create a fresher experience for veteran players and a more accessible entry point for new players.

Furthermore, there’s a new approach to the story. Players can now directly control the character Chup and experience the story from his perspective. This means the narrative will be presented in a more personal and unique way. In short, the remake is trying to reinvent itself not only visually but also narratively.

The game is being developed for PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and PC (Steam), but a release date hasn’t been announced yet. However, the details revealed already show that Snack World: Reloaded will be much more than a simple remake.
