Mafia: The Old Country Man of Honor Trailer Released
The first major story expansion for Mafia: The Old Country has finally been revealed with a gameplay video. Titled Man of Honor, this content continues the story of Enzo Favara, whom we know from the main game, adding new areas, missions, and equipment to liven up the world. It seems Hangar 13 wants to expand the Sicilian adventure with regular content rather than cutting support immediately after the game’s release.
What will Mafia: The Old Country Man of Honor offer?
Man of Honor will be released on August 14th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The paid expansion, priced at approximately €10, will include two new story chapters focusing on Enzo Favara. Players will travel to previously inaccessible areas during these missions and witness a different side of Enzo’s journey through the criminal underworld.
The new story missions are only a part of the expansion. The trailer also shows different weapons, vehicles, and equipment. While it’s stated that this content can be used throughout the main game, the new areas are expected to add more variety to combat and exploration. The increased number of period-appropriate vehicles and weapons is particularly fitting for refreshing gameplay.
The Open World mode will also be featured in Man of Honor. The expansion will add special missions and more challenging battles that can be completed during free roaming. This means that players who finish the two story chapters won’t be immediately satisfied with the content. The trailer only shows short clips of these missions, but it’s clear that vehicle chases and more intense combat will be prominent.
The fact that Man of Honor will be released just a few days after the main game’s launch is quite noteworthy. However, considering Hangar 13 and 2K Games have a long-term support plan, this expansion could be a starting point. Mafia: The Old Country, with its new stories and Open World missions, will offer players a very good excuse to return to Sicily.
