Mortal Kombat 1 finally announced

Mortal Kombat 1 was officially announced after the rumours and hints given by the famous producer Ed Boon. The game, which was announced with a cinematic trailer, will rewind the story as predicted.

Mortal Kombat 1 will be released in September

Mortal Kombat 1 release date was also shared by NetherRealm Studios led by Ed Boon. Accordingly, the game will be released on 19 September for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles, Nintendo Switch and PC. Although no details are given yet, we estimate that the Nintendo Switch version of the game will probably be played over the cloud.

“Mortal Kombat 1 is the latest game in the acclaimed Mortal Kombat video game series developed by the award-winning NetherRealm Studios,” said the description of the game, which also released a cinematic trailer.

“The game will introduce a reborn Mortal Kombat Universe created by the God of Fire, Liu Kang, and will feature never-before-seen reimagined versions of iconic characters, along with a new fighting system, game modes, bone-crushing finishing moves and more.”

Along with the announcement of the game, of course, explanations were also made about the different versions of the game. Players who pre-order the Premium Edition, which has a price tag of $109.99, will receive early access to the game from 14 September, along with the Kombat Pack, which includes a Jean-Claude Van Damme-inspired Johnny Cage costume worth 1,250 Dragon Crystals (in-game currency), early access to six new playable characters and five new Kameo Fighters.
