Statements from Xbox indicate that Project Helix aims to be a leader in performance. New Xbox CEO Asha Sharma also emphasized during the presentation that the system will stand out in terms of performance when it launches. This suggests the console will come with powerful hardware, but also raises questions about its price.
According to recent reports, Microsoft has not yet finalized the console’s price. Factors such as global tariffs, component costs, geopolitical developments, and supply chain issues are said to be making pricing difficult. Therefore, the company is reportedly being cautious in determining a definitive pricing strategy for the new Xbox.
Some community polls also reveal interesting results. In polls involving thousands of gamers, many users indicated they would be willing to pay even $900 or $1000 for the new Xbox. However, a significant number of players also expect a lower price.
Currently, there is no official price announcement from Microsoft. However, given the focus on performance, it seems highly likely that Project Helix will launch at a price well above $500. Of course, whether the company is preparing a more affordable model remains unclear for now.
