With the Universe Mode in WWE 2K26, It’s Possible to Control Everything
WWE 2K26 is significantly expanding Universe Mode this year, offering players a true “create and manage” experience. According to newly released Ringside Report details, whether you plan every detail meticulously or sit back and watch the universe unfold, you’re completely in control. In short, this year’s Universe Mode seems poised to fully embrace the sandbox spirit.
WWE 2K26 Universe Mode Increases Control
One of the most notable new features this year is the Universe Wizard. This system allows you to determine weekly shows, PLE events, title holders, and the calendar’s starting month. You can choose an existing show like Monday Night Raw, import a downloaded show, or create a brand new one from scratch. It’s a powerful tool, especially for those who want to build their own wrestling universe.
Even the default shows can be customized in detail. Brands like Raw and SmackDown are free to change their rosters, titles, and division structures. Each show supports eight different championships, including men’s, women’s, tag team, and even intergender titles. Plus, two separate Money in the Bank bags can be included in the system.
Match setup options have also been expanded. Match sliders allow you to fine-tune the match card order, scoring, and bonuses for title matches or rivalries. For those who want a completely blank slate, there’s an option to remove all default rivalries and build a storyline from scratch.
Promos are also more liberating. You can directly specify the match type when challenging an opponent, and plan face or heel turns. There are also separate costume options for weekly shows, PLEs, and WrestleMania. WWE 2K26 transforms Universe Mode into a management simulation. This year, the stage is completely set for those who want to hold the strings behind the ring.
